Description

The legendary Route 66, which leads from Chicago to Los Angeles, was the epitome of freedom and mobility in the USA in the last century. It is still considered a dream road for motorcycling today. The motif, in the style of a 1950s advertising poster, pays homage to the "American Motorcycle" on Route 66 as a pin-up artwork by showing a pretty female petrol pump attendant filling up the motorbike, in keeping with the spirit of the times. With this painting, hobby painting commemorates this special form of American vintage everyday art.
